Experts to discuss security/privacy trends and educate on how to better protect company, clients and staff San Diego, CA – December 13, 2016 – Securing Our eCity, ESET, Morrison & Foerster LLP, and Privacy Rights Clearinghouse will host a Data Privacy Day event on January 27, 2017 from 7:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. at Morrison & Foerster LLP located at 12531 High Bluff Drive, Suite 100.
Data Privacy Day is an annual effort to empower people and businesses to protect their privacy and secure their data. Data security policies are crucial to companies that value the protection of their data and their client’s privacy. By safeguarding this information, companies can preserve their client’s trust, and protect one of their most integral assets.
Attendees will hear from cyber industry experts about best policy practices on how to protect data throughout their companies. Proceeds from the event will benefit two local nonprofit organizations, Securing Our eCity Foundation and Privacy Rights Clearinghouse.
Guest panelists include Andrew Serwin, Partner of Morrison & Foerster LLP; Beth Givens, Executive Director of Privacy Rights Clearinghouse; Chad Nelley, EVP of ESET North America. The event will be moderated by Brad Lunn, Board Member of Securing Our eCity Foundation.
